Alerion Partners invests in small growing companies and recapitalizations of troubled venture and private equity deals.  We look for companies with rapid revenue growth potential in large or rapidly growing markets.  Typically companies are not yet profitable or have very early profitability, but have some customers and revenues.  In the past, our partners have made successful investments in “turnarounds” and “restarts” and the fund actively seeks these investments if there is an outstanding market opportunity.

In most of our investments, Alerion’s goal is to lead or be the major investor in a company.  We typically make $2.5 to $5 million initial investments in the following areas:

• Marketing services
• Business services
• Consumer products
• Targeted media

Our focus is on the long-term. To help finance future growth, Alerion reserves capital for follow-on investments in our portfolio companies.
